This is our crazy man! He had his one year appointment today, I can't believe it! He is starting to slow down in growth but his head is growing steady. =) He is 60% for height/weight and 90% for headsize. Parker is very close to walking he will take steps in between toys or chairs. He has walked 10 steps to Mommy's arms. He is enjoying trying new foods, his new favorite is pizza. Geoff and I have held strong with the sweets. He will get a piece of cake on his birthday. We have slowly started the transition to milk and we will turn him around soon in his carseat. I feel like he's turning 18 with all these new freedoms, make it stop! This has been the best year of our lives and we look forward to many more. Happy New Year!

Our first Christmas with Parker is everything we could have hoped for. We had a great time with family and friends. Parker enjoyed opening his gifts, especially the wrapping paper and boxes to play with. Geoff and I had the best gift of all, being with Parker!

What haven't we done in December! Got our tree, Zoo lights, Sat on Santa's lap, Visited new cousin Issac, got together with family, babysat the Cousy's, Christmas Parties and took our Christmas picture. Phew! We are having a busy but fabulous month. Parker took 5 steps this week, he is on his way to walking. Geoff and I can't wait to be with Parker Christmas morning. Merry Christmas, may Christ be the focus of your day!

Let Christmas begin! Parker got in the spirit with his reindeer ears, they lasted on his head about 1 more second. Parker got his 1st ornament, a little Santa Ducky. Parker is going to go crazy when we get our tree, we will have to keep it in a different room otherwise we will have a Parker ornament.

Sunriver was a blast! The sun was out and snow was on the ground. Sunriver has a tree lighting ceremony at the Lodge and Santa comes. We took Parker he did great, when the lights went on and the fireworks went off Parker started to cry but he quickly realized how cool everything was and liked all the lights. Parker loved his first Thanksgiving dinner, he had turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole and cranberries. All the cousins had a lot of fun playing together. Avery and Parker had their moments, they are going to love and fight like sister and brother. Parker is starting to show signs of walking, he will stand alone by himself for a little while then fall. He is babbling more and more. He is going to be one before we know it! He is soo much fun right now, he laughs to himself and is such a happy guy, we are blessed!

Crazy boy! Parker has graduated from his little blue bath tub to the big boy bath. He crawls all around and loves the freedom, mom and dad not so much. =) Parker is 22.8lbs and 30inches tall, keeps getting bigger. This is a fun phase, he is starting to understand a lot more, he will try and repeat what we are doing. He is starting to try and sign a few words. Parker is exploring everywhere getting into cupboards, we make forts, play chase, and sing songs. Geoff and I are in love with our little boy. We can't believe he will be one soon.
Happy Thanksgiving week to everyone!

Nothing like spending time with the Godfather!

Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all those who have bravely served our country giving Parker a better place to live. Parker is 10ths! Parker and I spent the day at home relaxing, actually that word doesn't exist anymore. What I meant to say was we spent the day on "the go." Parker just crawls everywhere and pulls up on everything. Such an active little guy. He plays so well, he loves his toys and anything he can grab really. He is starting to let go when pulled up and will balance for about 30-45 seconds then either grab on again or fall on his bum. Parker is also helping me turn the pages in his books when we read. He grabs the corner of the page and forcefully turns it, not a lot of grace yet, it's funny. =) Parker is also starting to eat a lot more adult food, he had a waffle for breakfast.

Parker is on the move! We could hardly get the 3 cousins in the same frame. Caroline got some better pictures than I did. Halloween was fun, we had an event at my dad's office where 1500 kids from the city of Newberg trick or treat. Parker was just in awe staring at the kids. We didn't take him trick or treating, next year! Some friends of our brought their 2 Chocolate Labs and Parker fell in love with them, giggling everytime they came near him. Sorry Geoffrey, your son loves dogs!

We had lunch with Papa Henry and Grandma Audrene today at the the Cheesecake Factory. It was great to catch up and show off how big Parker has gotten. Of course he flirted and flexed =) Papa Henry held Parker's hands and they walked from the table outside, Parker really thought he was something. Great times!

Geoff took work off on Monday to spend time with Parker while I went to the office. While at my desk this picture was emailed to me with the caption, " Mommy come home, Daddy is crazy." Needless to say the boys had a lot of fun!

Check out our daily entertainment!

Parker and I spent the weekend at the farm while Geoff went up to Seattle for boys weekend. Parker woke up before the sun had risen and we greeted the sunrise with awe. If I am going to be up before the sunrises then being at the Farm is the best! During one of Parker's nap this weekend we heard this woohooo over the monitor. I go check on him and Parker had taken off his pants and was swinging them above his head like a lasso, he was so proud of himself! I still can't figure out how he got his pants off but the socks were still on. His crawling gets faster and faster everyday. Today he spent 30mins. just crawling around and exploring his bedroom. It's fascinating watching him learn and discover. Such a joy! Tomorrow Geoff took off work to be at home with Parker, Daddy/Parker day. =)

Yay! Parker is crawling forward! Just the other morning Geoff and I were getting ready for the day and Parker decided to crawl out of the bathroom, we couldn't believe it. All of a sudden it clicked and now he can't be stopped. Watch out Parker is on the loose! Yesterday we had cousin Avery for the day and they had so much fun together. The picture of them sleeping is at the end of the day, they played so hard. Don't worry they weren't in the pack n play the whole time that was only to feed them one at a time, respect to Mae Mae who watches all 3 Grandkids at once, she is amazing!

Who wouldn't want this face looking up at you?! Parker is becoming a boy before our own eyes. All he wants to do these days is hold onto our hands and walk everywhere. The instant you set him down he gets mad, I think he could walk a mile. He is also finally starting to crawl forward, he lunges forward really fast and crawls 3 steps it's hilarious. He is as sweet as ever and becoming a little bit of a Mama's boy of which I don't mind =). We've started feeding him more solid foods, some he can feed himself. Parker has also decided he likes to stand up in his crib 10 times a night, we have finally had to play the tough parent card and let him cry for a while so he can figure out how to sit down on his own or stop playing his parents. He's too cute to be tough on! I'm sure we will have lots more stories in the next few weeks.

Parker at the pumpkin patch! He was a little tired this day since he didn't take his afternoon nap, I think he was excited for the pumpkins. He was some what interested in what was going on, he would hit the pumpkins and try to eat them. We bought Parker a big pumpkin that we will carve later this week with him or Geoff will watch him while I carve =) Just today Parker is now officially pulling himself up. Mae Mae found him standing up in his crib and he had pulled the mobile down, watch out Parker is on the loose now. He is still crawling backwards but he can sure move around a room. He has been so funny lately and he knows it. He will wait til you look at him then he will give you this intense muscle flex and of course Geoff and I just laugh and he does it again. He is such a joy! We love him so much and are enjoying all these new things he is learning.
