Pumpkin Fun! We took Parker out to Fir Point Farms and we had a blast. Parker got to wear his boots and tromp around in the mud. He saw baby animals, went in Noah's Ark, went into a Hazelnut House, rode a blow up pony, and had an apple cider donut. I'd say it was great day for Parker. =) Parker wasn't too sure about carving the pumpkin, he didn't like the goo and guts. He just sat back and used his spoon to stir around the seeds in the bowl. Parker on the other hand does love the Halloween Oreos we bought, he begs for them.
We went to Sunriver recently for the weekend. It was beautiful weather, we went on lots of walk and played outside a lot. The Oregon Ducks had a chance to be #1 in the country so Parker sported his #1 Jersey. He is becoming more of a little boy everyday. You can tell now he is starting to pretend and imagine with his toys. He is full of smiles and laughs!

September fun! Geoff and I took our first trip away from Parker to Isle of Palms, SC and on to Knoxville, TN for the Duck game vs, UT. My sister in law went to UT and we have planned this trip for several years. It was very hard being away from Parker but we had a great time and Parker was so excited to see us when we came home. The South was more charming and beautiful than we had imagined, we want to go back with our kids some day. Amongst other things we have taken Parker to Beach and his very first boat ride, he got to drive the boat and honk the horn, he was in heaven! Parker is talking more and more and getting faster and faster. He loves going to my parents farm and riding on the Gator, he can drive it himself now, the smaller version. We can't believe Parker will be 2 in a few months, he is growing up so fast. He is currently 30lbs and 34inches tall. He is in the 80%. We are looking forward to a fun October with Parker!
